Officers are appealing for information and witnesses after a woman reported that she was deliberately driven into in Bishop’s Stortford. At 9pm on Saturday 25 April, the woman was driving her white Hyundai IX35 from Southmill Road into South Street when, after hooting at a man in a white van, he then allegedly reversed into her car twice. The man was believed to have been driving a white Fiat Doblo van. Investigating officer PC Nick Horrex said: “We are in the process of tracing the man who was driving the van, but we are very keen to hear from anyone who saw the incident or a white van in the vicinity before or after the event. “If you were driving in the area with a dash cam in operation please check this for any possible footage. “We believe there may be other vehicles in the area that sustained damage around this time so please also contact us if you have information linked to this.” You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number 41/38070/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
